Walk
One of the best, most convenient alternative modes of transportation is the one you were born with…your feet! If you live close to work, consider commuting on foot. If not, look for opportunities to lace up your sneakers instead of turning the key in the ignition. Did you know that more than 25 percent of all automobile trips are less than one mile in length? Take those short trips by foot, and do something healthy for yourself and for the air!
